After 2 wins in the first 4 games of the season, and currently placed second in the Premier Division after the opening few games of the season, Rylands manager Andy Dawson is pleased with how his side have started the campaign.
"I think the season has started well overall, considering we are a new squad and still learning".
After a positive start to the season, Dawson believes in his team and has changed his aims for the season.
"At the start of the season I set a challenge to sit mid-table, but so far we have played what are the top two sides in the league, with one win and one defeat".
"My lads are improving week by week, I believe there is far more to come from this group so our aim is to finish in the top 3, which would be a fantastic season, but we'll take each game as it comes and who knows what could happen".
The Rylands manager couldn't fault any of his players, and believe the potential of the team is one to watch.
"These are young lads still learning the game so my job is to keep them performing well consistenly and for them to be able to adapt quickly to play different styles depending on the game".
